Even though the Colorado Buffaloes won their game against ASU last week by three, according to coach Deion Sanders, the team was “playing like hot garbage.”

This week’s match-up against Stanford, a weak squad with a 1-4 record, should prove whether Colorado found a way to get it together. The game’s being played in Colorado’s home stadium in Boulder, so there’s really no excuse for them stinking up the joint again. For their part, Stanford has a shot at beating the 11.5 point spread.

Here’s how to stream the game, even if you don’t have cable.

Where to watch Stanford (1-4) vs. Colorado (4-2)

  • When: 10 p.m. ET, Friday, Oct. 13

  • Where: Folsom Field, Boulder, CO

  • Where to stream: ESPN

The best place to stream this game is anywhere but Sling TV’s blue tier

The Stanford vs. Colorado game will be broadcast on ESPN, so almost everyone with a live TV streaming subscription or cable will be able to check it out easily. Rejoice, Fubo, YouTube, DirecTV Stream, and Vidgo subscribers!

The notable exception is Sling TV’s blue tier patrons. That package does not include any ESPN channels, so you’ll miss this game. But before you switch over from blue to orange, remember: Orange may have ESPN, ESPN 2, and ESPN 3, but it doesn’t include the NFL Network. Even though Sling is less expensive than other streamers, it can be a mess for fans who like both the NFL and college football.
